Eco-Maya
EcoMaya is a Chicago Based Women's Cooperative. A group of immigrant and refugee women started this cooperative in 2011. They seek to improve the lives and conditions faced by women who are forced to migrate for economic and social reasons. They started with a micro-loan from Maya Essence and are now developing other goods.
RAIS - CHIKAH
RAIS is a network of small agricultural and artisanal organizations in Guatemala. It works to facilitate sustainable and fair commercialization of its members’ products and enable families to earn sustainable livelihoods. Chikach is the commercial brand of products.
